I’ve been doing this for years, for professional award portraits, business leaders, publications, families, and individuals. My portraits are hand-drawn originals created from your photographs and finished as fine art prints done on beautiful, high quality, archival paper.
My hand-drawn portraits have the look of traditional media, but they are high-resolution digital prints drawn with a stylus and digital tablet! That means big savings for you on the cost of execution, plus the option of being ready for printing in any format, or having multiples made, in whatever sizes and quantities you like. The finished product is in every way a work of art that you will love owning or giving, and you will own the digital file.
I take pride in giving you more than a mere faithful “likeness” of the subject. Rather than a stiff, labored rendering style that appears “photographic” and lifeless, I prefer a drawing approach that captures an accurate likeness with the freshness and vitality of a unique work of art that touches the emotions and has enduring appeal. BASIC PORTRAIT 8.5×11 - $90
Head-and-shoulders pose, sepia-style drawing printed on museum-quality, heavy weight, paper stock.
STANDARD 8.5×11 – $150; 11×14 – $195; 14×18 – $250
Head-and-shoulders pose, sepia-style drawing with a toned background and white hi-lighting for a more a more life-like finish, printed on museum-quality, heavy weight, paper stock.
CUSTOM
Fees are quoted upon request, based on pose, number of subjects, use of color, size, and additional elements or graphics.
Sepia-style drawing with a toned background and white hi-lighting, or full color. The Custom Portrait offers additional options such as half or full-figure poses, additional subjects, larger sizes, specific background, graphic and/or pictorial elements to help convey the subject’s story or accomplishments. (I can add any background or pictorial element that you have photo reference for.) Color is also available.
